91 Game - Privacy Policy

Read the 91 Game privacy policy: what information we collect, how we use and protect it, your data-protection rights, and how to contact us with any privacy questions.

Information we collect

Account and registration data

When you register on 91game.io, we collect your username, email address, date of birth, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive only the profile fields you authorise during that OAuth flow, we do not access your contacts or social feed.

Device and technical data

Each time you access 91 Game we automatically log your IP address, device type and operating system, browser version, unique device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), and time zone. This data helps us diagnose crashes, optimise performance across Android and iOS devices common in India, and detect account takeover attempts.

Payment and transaction data

Purchases on 91game.io are processed through authorised payment partners. We support popular Indian payment methods including PhonePe, Google Pay (GPay), BHIM UPI, net banking, and major debit and credit cards. We do not store your full card number or UPI PIN. We retain transaction records, amount, date, currency, and a reference ID, for up to seven years to satisfy GST audit requirements under Indian tax law.

Usage and gameplay data

We collect game sessions played, scores, features accessed, time spent per session, and in-app interactions. This information is used exclusively to improve 91 Game and is never sold to third-party advertisers.

How we use your information

Delivering and operating the platform

We use your account and device data to authenticate your identity, process payments, sync your game progress across devices, and provide customer support. This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you under the terms you accepted at registration.

Personalisation and platform improvement

Gameplay and usage data is analysed, in aggregate and at the individual level where you have consented, to surface game recommendations, customise difficulty settings, and prioritise new feature development. For example, if a majority of users in Maharashtra engage heavily with a particular game mode, we may promote it more prominently in regional discovery feeds.

Security and fraud prevention

We cross-reference IP addresses, device identifiers, and transaction patterns to detect bot activity, payment fraud, and multi-account abuse. Suspicious sessions trigger automated holds that our trust-and-safety team reviews within 24 hours. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the integrity of 91 Game for all players.

Communications

We send transactional emails (payment confirmations, password resets, and security alerts) as part of our service obligation. With your separate consent we may also send promotional newsletters about tournaments, bonuses, and new game launches. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or through Account → Notifications in the app.

Legal compliance and retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary, account data for the life of your account plus two years, and financial records for seven years as required by the Income Tax Act and GST rules applicable in India. On deletion we securely erase or irreversibly anonymise your data within 30 days.

Your rights

Access, correction, and portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, and to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. Registered users can download an account data export directly from Account → Privacy → Download my data; exports are generated within 72 hours.

Erasure and restriction

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. We will fulfil erasure requests within 30 days except where retention is required by law (for example, GST transaction records). You may also ask us to restrict processing while a correction request is pending, or to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.

Consent withdrawal and complaints

Where processing is based on your consent, such as marketing emails or optional analytics, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority. Users in India may contact the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
